When did being “healthy” start meaning tired, starving, moody, and obsessed with every bite of food?
Seriously… when did we decide the sexiest thing a woman could be is underfed, overtrained, running on caffeine, and one inconvenience away from crying in a parking lot?
Somewhere along the way, health got completely lost.
Now people think..being hungry af all the time means you’re disciplined.
Doing endless cardio means you’re dedicated.
Living off coffee and protein bars means you’re committed.
& If you’re exhausted but skinny? Well apparently that means you’re “doing great.”
That is not health…
Health is not having abs if your hormones are wrecked.
Health is not being lean if you have no energy.
Health is not fitting in smaller jeans while your relationship with food is hanging on by a thread.
Optimal health should mean your body is actually functioning well.
You should have energy.
You should be able to eat food without guilt.
You should feel strong.
You should recover well.
You should have a healthy metabolism, healthy hormones, and a life that does not revolve around trying to be smaller.
We have got to stop acting like suffering for the aesthetic is the price of being “fit.”
Because if your body looks good but feels like garbage… what exactly are we doing here?
Being healthy should make you feel your best.
Not just look your leanest.
K? Love you Bye.

Lately, some things with my health and life have felt a bit up in the air..less grounded than usual. So I’m gently bringing myself back into alignment by focusing on what truly matters.
It’s okay for priorities to shift. Growth requires movement. We aren’t meant to stay the same or stay sedentary

My name is Katie.
Mom of four very different humans.
Personal trainer. Yoga teacher.
Forever student of the body and the nervous system.
I believe wellness is more than a scale.
More than food.
More than how hard you push.
It’s your nervous system.
Your boundaries.
The part of you that’s tired of proving
And just wants to feel safe.
I am studying somatic healing, Ayurveda, Tarot, essential oils, crystals, Reiki, trauma informed bodywork, and breathwork.
Not to be anything special,
But because the body keeps score
& I care about the why.
I know what it’s like to pour from an empty cup.
I know what it’s like to be misunderstood.
I know what it’s like to learn boundaries
After you needed them.
It is okay to be fully yourself.
Soft and strong.
Spiritual and grounded.
Healing and still human.
Teaching yoga (studios + park + donation-based),
Aerial yoga, spin, Pilates, group fitness, personal training.
I love my life.
I love this work.
If you’re here, you belong.
You don’t need to earn rest.
You don’t need to explain your healing.
Take care out there guys.
🤍

I’ve never been someone who goes with the flow or follows trends just because everyone else is doing it.
& it’s also okay if you’re not that person either.
You don’t have to do things the same way as everyone else.
& just because your path doesn’t move as fast or look the same as someone else’s doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
What I’ve learned is that when you share everything, you open yourself up to judgment.
People think they know your whole life, but they only see small pieces. The people who truly know you, your circle they know the depths of you.
I want to use my platform to inspire others to understand that you can do anything with your body and your life.
No matter how you were born, where you started, your age, or your gender.
I’m choosing to focus on what actually matters & let go of the rest.
Take care out there, guys. 💜

Mondays will be for content and community check ins.
Less doom scrolling and more intentional work.
More education in my field and less noise.
More laughter and care, less opinions and nonsense.
More guidance though actions not words.
Let’s kick this year off the right away. Surrounded by the people I care about.

Now that life has settled after the whirl wind I call the year of 2025 and homeschooling has a solid routine.
I’m opening up a couple of in-person training spots again.
I’ll still have online options available always.
If you’ve been thinking about starting personal training in 2026, or would like a free fitness consultation, feel free to reach out for details.
You can text, email, or message me directly.
Here’s to a strong, safe, and enjoyable 2026.
×× Please keep in mind that with personal training, you get what you put into it. I can give you all the tools, guidance, and support, but the consistency is in your hands. ××
You choose how many days youd like to exercise, whatever you’d like and ill make it fit your life, we’ll go through everything together each week, but it’s up to you to follow through.
Its a partnership.
I make new 1 or 3 days a week meal plans anytime, and I’m here for you whenever you need.
You deserve a body that feels good to live in.
Take care out there guys. 💜

❄️I know the days are getting shorter and it’s cold and dark and nobody really wants to move around as much but please hear me out Ya’ll..
❄️I really want you to start thinking about your health kind of like your job.. or like that one thing you do for yourself that you don’t skip..
❄️You know, like girls who go get their nails done or people who always make time for appointments. I want you to treat your movement like that..
❄️Book it like a doctor’s appointment. Set the time, even if it’s an hour blocked off, and you only move for 30 minutes, walk the track, do some stretches, lift something, whatever it looks like for you..
❄️You don’t have to be chasing a number on the scale. Maybe your goal is just to get stronger, to move better, to be able to carry all the groceries in one go or do the stairs without losing your breath.
& those things matter more than you think.. Absolutely they do..Your heart matters, your body matters, your mind matters. It all matters…
Taking care of yourself isn’t just about looking good, it’s about feeling good, fighting off that winter heaviness, that anxiety, that low energy that creeps in when it’s dark and cold…
Please don’t forget to take care of yourself even through the cold months.
You deserve to feel good, inside and out… FIGHT THOSE WINTER BLUES.. Take care out there, guys. 💜

After years of training out of TheGym in Estevan, we’ve decided it’s time to move our home base. I’ll still be training my current clients there until their contracts are finished, and I’ll continue to train at other gyms around town as well. But moving forward, our main base will be shifting to a different gym here in Estevan, and I’m really excited for this next chapter as we head into the new year. 🌿♥️
For the rest of 2025 and into 2026, my schedule will still be working around my family’s routine and navigating my oldest child’s needs until my toddler starts full-time school. Once that happens, I’ll be opening up more availability for training. In the meantime, if anyone has questions about personal training or wants to book a free fitness consultation, reach out! I’m really excited about moving into a new gym space and can’t wait to see you all on the gym floor. As always take care out there guys. 💜
